Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

Certification Purpose

The CTA designation is awarded to those who have taken part in the 14 week program, completing self-paced learning modules, case studies with their cohort, attending weekly live sessions and satisfactorily completing the capstone review where students are given a scenario to design, present, and defend an architectural solution to a project persona(s).

Certification Audience

The Technical Architect is responsible for analyzing and translating business information and technical requirements into architectural blueprints, proposing solutions to achieve complex business objectives. The position provides guidance on, assists in establishing, and participates in technical governance processes. The role collaborates on the design and implementation of a platform operating model that improves likelihood of successful go-lives and end-user adoption. Technical Architects provide technical evaluation of strategic and operational demands against the ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and leading practices.

To participate in the CTA program, candidates must have at least three years of ServiceNow Subject Matter Expertise (SME) experience and experience taking business requirements and converting them into ServiceNow platform capabilities.
