Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist OT Security (FCSSOTS)

The FCSS in OT Security certification validates your ability to design, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortinet OT security solutions. This curriculum covers OT security infrastructures using advanced Fortinet solutions.

Recommended training for this certification

You must successfully pass the Fortinet NSE 7–OT Security exam.

You will receive a digital exam badge after you pass any version of the Fortinet NSE 7—OT Security exam. You will also receive a digital certification badge with the FCSS in OT Security designation.

To prepare for the certification exam, we recommend that you take the associated NSE courses. The courses are optional.

Becoming an FCSS in OT Security on October 1, 2023 Professionals will receive this certification on October 1, 2023, if they have passed any version of the Fortinet NSE 7–OT Security exam on or after October 1, 2021.

The expiration date of the certification received under these conditions will be two years after you pass the Fortinet NSE 7–OT Security exam.

  • Scoring method: Answers must be 100% correct for credit. No partial credit is given. There are no deductions for incorrect answers.

  • Transcript and certificate: Your Fortinet Training Institute transcript is updated within five business days after you pass the exam. After that, you will be able to download a printable certificate from the Fortinet Training Institute.

Recertification

  • If your FCSS in OT Security certification has expired, you must pass the Fortinet NSE 7–OT Security exam to earn active status.
  • If your FCSS in OT Security certification is still active, you can extend its expiration date to two years from the date you complete the following requirement:
    • Passing the Fortinet NSE 7–OT Security exam.
  • If your FCSS in OT Security certification is still active, you can extend its expiration date to three years from the date you achieve or renew the FCX in Cybersecurity certification.
  • Passing the Fortinet NSE 7–OT Security exam recertifies your FCF, and FCA certifications if they are still active.
