IT specialist strengthens expert team

Thomas Mitzka is the new Enterprise Business Development Director Services and Cloud EMEAR at Fast Lane

Hamburg/Berlin, 5th January 2018 – Fast Lane has appointed Thomas Mitzka as the new Enterprise Business Development Director Services and Cloud EMEAR. Based at Fast Lane's training center in Hamburg, Thomas is responsible for the expansion of the professional services offering and cloud business across the entire EMEAR (Europe, Middle East, Africa & Russia) region.

Thomas has been working in the IT training and consulting industry since 1999. He holds a Master of Science degree in Physical Oceanography. After finishing his university career as a Data Manager for the international JGOFS project (Joint Global Ocean Flux Study), he founded BOS-it. In 2000 BOS-it was one of Germany's leading Sun Solaris training providers. The continuous growth of the training business and innovative training solutions resulted in BOS-it being named Sun Microsystems EMEA Partner of the Year 2009. Parallel to the traditional classroom training, Thomas developed his first e-learning course at the beginning of 2002 and is author of several e-learning courses to date. He developed BOS-it from a training provider to a complete IT consulting and service partner for Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Nexenta and other national partners. Thomas is very experienced in working with large and medium-sized international vendors such as Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, VMware or Nexenta as Training and Consulting Partner and Consultant Project Manager.
