New Fast Lane course: “Installing Cisco Unified Communications on Cisco Unified Computing Systems”

Hamburg/Berlin, 08 May 2013 – In its new training course, “Installing Cisco Unified Communications on Cisco Unified Computing Systems” (UCUCS), the Cisco Specialized Learning Partner Fast Lane demonstrates a straightforward way to optimize technical cooperation. This course shows participants how to establish unified communications applications on Cisco Unified Computing Systems C-Series and B-Series servers.

The training course is tailored to the needs of systems engineers, field engineers, technical solutions architects and Cisco integrators and partners. At the end of three days of training, the participants are able to set up fabric interconnects and configure Ethernet, FCoE, and Fibre Channel interfaces. Furthermore, the instructor explains the Unified System Service Profile for the Unified Communications Application Server. The topic of virtualisation is also included in the course: participants install VMware components and configure networks and storage. In addition, advanced networking components and concepts such as vDS N1K, VM-FEX and PTS are discussed.
