Training specialist expands its programme of data management courses
Fast Lane certified as Oracle Approved Education Reseller (OAER)
Hamburg/Berlin, Germany, August 2010 – The IT training specialist Fast Lane (www.flane.de) is now certified as an Oracle Approved Education Reseller (OAER) and will therefore be offering approved Oracle training courses. The courses include Oracle solutions such as Oracle "Database 11g,", Oracle"Database 10g,", "Oracle Warehouse Builder," and Oracle"Siebel CRM Versions 8.0 and 8.1," as well as various Oracle development tools. The intended audience for such courses consists primarily of developers, analysts, database designers, consultants, project managers, and administrators from a wide range of fields.
As an official Oracle Approved Education Reseller, Fast Lane now offers an extensive programme of approximately 45 approved training courses.
Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Database 11g
The aim of the courses is to teach Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Database 11g. Course participants are given the opportunity to acquire a deeper knowledge and understanding of the subject by working with the software on the basis of good basic theoretical knowledge. The participants learn about the installation and administration of Oracle databases, as well as about database architecture concepts and the cooperation and interaction between individual components. Furthermore, participants learn how to establish an operational database and how to effectively and efficiently manage the various structures. Detailed information is also provided about performance monitoring, database security, user administration, backup/recovery techniques, and SQL basics and tuning.
Oracle Warehouse Builder
In another main area of focus, Fast Lane shows how a data warehouse solution can be implemented with the Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB). The participants investigate concepts, design issues, and the architecture and terminology that underlies the Oracle Warehouse Builder. They also create and maintain Oracle Warehouse Builder design metadata, such as source and warehouse target definitions and ETL mappings, with the help of the relevant client tools. Further supplementary courses extend the individual segments.
Oracle Siebel CRM Versions 8.0 and 8.1
Fast Lane has also expanded its training portfolio with the addition of comprehensive training courses covering Oracle's Siebel CRM versions 8.0 and 8.1. The individual courses cover everything from basic knowledge right through to advanced administration techniques. In the process, the participants learn about various functional aspects relating to Oracle's Siebel Sales, Oracle Siebel Call Center, and Oracle Siebel Field Service applications. Students obtain an understanding of the logical structure of Oracle's Siebel applications, the web architecture, access protection, and implementation best practices.
