Course Objectives

After completing this course, you should be able to:

  • Describe the new features of ALM 12.0
  • Describe Application Lifecycle Management
  • Enforce policy across projects by creating templates and utilizing cross-project customization
  • Share and reuse requirements and tests across projects using libraries
  • Share and synchronize defects across projects
  • Generate cross-project reports and graphs
  • Use the Project Planning and Tracking feature to add milestones with key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist project management.

Course Content

This course is for those who have completed the Application Lifecycle Management 12 Essentials course and require knowledge of the new features in the ALM 12.0 release. Students learn how to implement cross-project customizations and reports, and share assets, libraries, and defects. In addition, the Project Planning and Tracking (PPT) platform is discussed. The hands-on labs use version 12.0 of the software.
