CA Process Automation r4.x: Designer 200 (88PAM20131)



Because most organizations operate in silos, the resulting lack of integration between departments and IT systems prevents many processes from being automated. CA Process Automation is designed to speed the delivery of IT services while helping to remove manual errors. By defining, automating, and orchestrating processes across organizational silos that use disparate systems, CA Process Automation helps improve productivity while also enforcing standards.

The focus of this course is the Designer component. You will be shown how you can quickly create and test new processes using objects from the automation library, which consists of several hundred automation objects. The course also shows you how you can use the graphical UI or scripts to automate new processes and how you can import existing legacy automation scripts into the version-controlled library and reuse them to help speed development. This course spans the various elements of the process development phases. You will implement datasets and expressions, design basic and advanced processes, and implement forms and web services.
