- Administrators who will be responsible for creating and managing Impromptu catalogs.
- Experienced Impromptu users who want to upgrade their Impromptu skills to include administrative capabilities.
You should have:
- Impromptu Series 7.x Report Building
- Thorough working knowledge of both Impromptu and Windows
- Understanding of database design and Structured Query Language (SQL) (recommended)

You can start the course at any time within 12 months of enrolling for the course. After you register/start the course, you have 30 days to complete your course. Within this 30 days, the self-paced format gives you the opportunity to complete the course at your convenience, at any location, and at your own pace. The course is available 24 hours a day.
If the course requires a remote lab system, the lab system access is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. When you are not using the elab system, ensure that you suspend your elab to maximize your hours available to use the elab system.
This is the self paced training version of Series 7 Version 3 and 4 - Impromptu Administration classroom course. Series 7 Version 3 and 4 - Impromptu Administration is a two-day, self paced course designed to provide new Impromptu administrators with the skills they need to plan, implement, deploy, and maintain an Impromptu application for users with a variety of reporting requirements.
Following a typical application development project lifecycle, youll learn how to design and build an Impromptu application for a sample user group within an organization. The course takes you through the planning process, from identifying your users, their data requirements, and the available data, to the actual creation of the application in Impromptu.
