Starting in 2009 at Fast Lane: Advanced IPSec (AIPSEC)

26th January 2009 – Cisco Learning Solutions Partner (CLSP) Fast Lane will be offering a new training course in Advanced IPSec (AIPSEC) as part of its programme in 2009. This primarily addresses Cisco Channel Partners, Resellers and Cisco customers.

During the five-day Advanced IPSec (AIPSEC) course, the experienced Fast Lane instructors will provide participants with detailed knowledge about IPSec VPNs based on Cisco IOS. This will include tuition about basic technological principles, such as encryption algorithms and standards (IKE, IPSec), as well as advanced features and functions, such as PKI integration, DMVPN and GET VPN.

Overview of Course Content:

  • Basic principles of cryptography (3DES, AES, MD5, SHA)
  • Attacks on cryptographic systems
  • VPN fundamentals (IPSec, IPSec/GRE, IPSec/MPLS VPN)
  • IPSec standards (ESP, AH)
  • IPSec manual keys
  • IKE standard (IKEv1, IKEv2)
  • IPSec PKI integration (incl. IOS CA)
  • VPN clients with EasyVPN (software and hardware clients)
  • TED – DMVPN
  • GET VPN
  • IPSec advanced features (high availability, NAT-T etc.)
