Fast Lane Prepares for New Cisco Certified Network Associate Specializations
Training for CCNA Security, Voice, and Wireless Certifications
July 3, 2008 – Cisco Learning Solutions Partner Fast Lane offers trainings preparing for the new CCNA specializations in the security, voice, and wireless areas. Cisco has introduced these on 24 June, 2008. They build upon the most common Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Participants are given the opportunity to qualify for one of the respective technology areas in excess of basic routing & switching skills.
With this CCNA certification graduates have the know-how required for installing, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting middle-sized networks including the implementation of connections to remote sites in a WAN. It provides the basis for the new focus trainings preparing as a proof of qualification for the respective specialization.
CCNA Security: Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security (IINS)
This course supersedes the Securing Cisco Network Devices (SND) training serving as the respective proof of qualification for network security specialists, security administrators, and network security support technicians. Course graduates will be able to install, configure, and monitor Cisco security devices & technologies. In addition, there will be a focus on developing security policies and minimizing risks in networks.
CCNA Voice: Implementing Cisco IOS Unified Communications (IIUC)
The training primarily addresses voice administrators, engineers, and managers in the SMB and Enterprise environments. It supersedes the IP Telephony Express (IPTX) training. Instructors will impart knowledge on voice applications and infrastructure concepts aiming at enabling graduates to independently install, configure, and operate Cisco VoIP solutions.
CCNA Wireless:
Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials (IUWNE)
The training is particularly suited for network administrators, wireless, security and support technicians with a focus on wireless networks, WLAN project managers, as well as wireless support specialists. Basic knowledge is imparted for configuring, implementing, and supporting wireless LANs based on Cisco equipment.
