The primary audiences for this course are support and deployment engineers, administrators, or anyone who needs an understanding of Cisco Unity Connection 10.x, for example field engineers.
Prior to attending, you should have a good understanding of Cisco Unified Communications Manager and know the Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration portfolio products available. There is no Cisco Unity Connection knowledge required.

Cisco Unity Connection is a voicemail and unified messaging platform with a comprehensive feature set and is based on the same Linux Unified Communications Operating System as Cisco Unified Communications Manager. With Cisco Unity Connection, you can access and manage voice messages in a variety of ways, using your email inbox, web browser, the Cisco Jabber messaging integration platform, Cisco Unified IP Phone, smartphone, tablet, and more.
This 2-day workshop will help you gain skills and knowledge necessary for initial Cisco Unity Connection 10.0 sizing, design, integration, and configuration as well as day-to-day administration and management tasks. It focuses on the initial setup and configuration of Cisco Unity Connection including integrations with LDAP server, Microsoft Exchange, and Cisco Prime Collaboration. It includes hands-on labs focused on configuration, verification, administration, and testing tasks. Lab exercises are delivered using an equipment-ready environment where students can focus on their specific areas of interests.
