This course is intended for system and network administrators responsible for installation, setup, configuration, and administration of the BIG-IP LTM system.

Students should understand:Common network terminologyTCP/IP addressing and routingInternetworking conceptsCommon elements of WAN and LAN environmentsData Center Server redundancy conceptsIn addition, students should be proficient in:Basic PC operation and application skills, including operating a CD drive, keyboard, mouse and Windows OSBasic Web browser operation (Internet Explorer is used in class)Please note that this course is a prerequisite for BIG-IP LTM Advanced Topics v9.x.
Kursziele
By the end of this course, the student should be able to perform an initial configuration using the Setup Utility and build many common configurations of BIG-IP LTM system using the Graphical User Int erface (browser-based). In addition, the student should be able to monitor and manage common tasks concerning traffic processed through the BIG-IP LTM system.
